Unsung Student Award

 
The Cheshire Rotary Club in partnership with Cheshire Public Schools is pleased to announce the 2016 recipients of the Rotary Club Unsung Student Awards:

They are being honored for positive attitude, hard work, class participation, initiative and kindness to others.  All traits of future Rotarians!

Criteria for the award is based on the Rotary Four-Way Test that is the basis for good citizenship and moral, helpful character.  Teachers and administrators of their schools select winners.  The recipients and their parents are invited to a Rotary dinner to receive the Unsung Student Certificate and a $100 Gift Certificate to a bookstore to encourage lifelong reading.  This is the 9th year of Cheshire Rotary Club support of these future leaders.  Each year a total of six students receive the award, one from each of the four elementary schools, Dodd Middle School and Cheshire High School.
